Pro Kabaddi League 2018 Match Schedule and fixtures- Pro Kabaddi League is back with its sixth edition, the PKL 2018 and we are more than ready for all the action and excitement that it brings along. Pro Kabaddi is one of the most successful three domestic sports events of India standing toe to toe with the likes of IPL and ISL.
Pro Kabaddi already had vast popularity but now seems like its raining money on Pro Kabaddi League as we witnessed record-breaking signings in the PKL auction 2018 earlier this year with Monu Goyat being sold for Rs. 1.51 Crore.
Pro Kabaddi League season 6 starts on October 7 and the defending champions of PKL 2017 Patna Pirates will take on Tamil Thalaivas on the first opening game of the Pro Kabaddi Season 6.
In the second match of the PKL 2018, Puneri Paltan will take on the PKL 2 champions U Mumba on the second shift of October 7.
The costliest player in the PKL history, Monu Goyat will start this year’s campaign with his new team Haryana Steelers against Puneri Paltan in the 3rd match of PKL 2018 on October 8.
Pro Kabaddi League commissioner Anupam Goswami said, “We have had to adjust the Season VI window to October onwards, in lieu of the ongoing Asian Games that have nearly all the world’s top Kabaddi athletes playing for their respective national teams. We will return to a July start for VIVO PKL Season VII.”
Like last season, 12 teams will be competing and are divided into two zones including 6 teams each. Each competing team will play 15 games within their zone and 7 inter-zone matches during the group stages.
5 matches will be played in the playoffs including 3 eliminators, 2 qualifiers and a final match. The matches are scheduled to be played in Mumbai.
