[R10 Million] Mzansi Super League 2018 Winner Prize Money
Mzansi Super League (MSL) T20 tournament which is finally taking place this year is South Africa’s own version of IPL. The tournament will be starting from November 16 to December 16.
After the Mzansi Super League 2018 schedule and team, squads were revealed, the prize money for the MSL has also been declared which is going to be a whopping R10 Million.
Six teams will be participating for the ultimate prize money of R7 millions which will be given to the winner and R2.5 millions to the runner-ups. Six teams that will be participating are – Cape Town Blitz, Durban Heat, Jozi Stars, Nelson Mandela Bay Giants, Paarl Rocks, and Tshwane Spartans.
The “Man of the tournament” prize money has also been revealed and it is R100,000 and the “man of the match” prize money is R15,000.

Cricket South Africa Chief Executive, Thabang Moroe, said, “This is a perfect incentive for the teams and the players ahead of the first MSL T20 edition and we are all looking forward to the first ball being bowled in 17 days’ time.
We will also reveal different venue activations closer to the tournament where we also want to make the MSL T20 experience even more epic for the spectators coming through to see some of the world leading stars like AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle and Kagiso Rabada in action.”
The inaugural match will be played on 15 November between Cape Town Blitz and Tshwane Spartans at 7:00 PM.
