Okay, so one thing is sure. Virat Kohli is doing a magnificent job with keeping Indian team on right track and at the top with back to back home series win. Currently, India washed West Indian team back to the shores in both ODI and T20 series.
After the successful home stint, team India is ready for another challenge and this time against the defending world champions Australia in their own turf. Team India will tour Australia for 3 T20s, 4 Test and 3 ODI match series.
The tour will begin with T20 series which will begin on 21 November. Both teams will be playing the famous Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series from December 6. And finally, the ODI series between India and Australia will be played from 12 January 2019.
Captain Virat Kohli was absent from the T20 series against West Indies but he is making a comeback in the T20 squad whereas MS Dhoni is absent from the T20 squad and is replaced by Rishabh Pant.
An injury will keep the star All-rounder Hardik Pandya from playing in the T20 series against Australia whereas, David Warner and Sam Smith won’t be playing for Australia considering the legal issues of their one year ban following the ball-tampering scandal last year.
