In an official unveiling press-conference the 5 time Ballon d’Or winner said, “I’m different from other players who think their careers are over when they’re my age,”

“I want to show that I’m not like the others, I’m different.

“Players of my age go to China or Qatar so coming to such an important club at this stage in my career makes me very happy.”

During the press conference held at the state-of-the-art Allianz Stadium where all the media persons from around the world gathered, the former Madrid super star seemed his ususal self enriched with condifence and said that he has “nothing to prove to anyone.”

“The numbers are there, everyone knows what I’ve done for football, but I’m ambitious and I like challenges.”

“I didn’t want to stay in my comfort zone after what I did for Manchester and Real Madrid. I want to leave my mark on Juve.”

This was the best push the Italian champions could give themselves to pursue their dreams of European glory. Ronaldo also seemed happy with his new club. He signed a four years contract where he will also get €30 Million per season. Juventus made this deal as they believe that Ronaldo could bring them the most coveted European title of Champions League.

Juventus FC also called the (old lady of Italian football) has been champions in their respective league Serie A for last 7 years and will start their 8th season with Ronaldo on their side. Juventus has dominated Italian football for past few years but unfortunately they couldn’t convert their domestic success into European glory.

Juventus won the champions league in 1996 last time since then they have made it to the finals twice in 2015 against Barcelona but they got beat. Last year, in 2017 Juventus hopes to the champions league were crushed by Ronaldo’s former club Real Madrid where Ronaldo scored the first goal.

“We’re going to fight for not just Champions League, but also Serie A and the others trophies,” Ronaldo said.

“I need to work hard because the Champions League is not easily won. I hope I can help.”

Ronaldo had a hectic and special day at Turin. He received a warm welcome by thousnads of Juventus fans gathered outside the Allianz stadium to greet their new star player hoping and chanting “Ronaldo, bring us the champions league.

Ronaldo fever could be seen in Turin as many of his young fans were wearing the brand new Juve jerseys with Ronaldo and his number 7 imprinted on them. Ronaldo was also mesmerized with the welcome he was getting as he came out of the Juve’s medical centre and signed autographs and shook hands.

He said, “It was a stunning moment to be welcomed this way,”

“It increases your motivation to start work. I hope I can reward them.”

Last year Cristiano’s two goals in the finals stunned the Italian champions and crushed their UCL dreams. Juve fans are relieved and excited that they will have Ronaldo in their team in the next UCL season.
